Ex-HSBC innovator becomes CEO of Swiss crypto financial service provider Valor

Ex-HSBC innovator and Bitcoin expert Diana Biggs takes over the helm as CEO of the Swiss crypto investment company Valor.

The Swiss Zug-based crypto investment firm Valor has appointed Diana Biggs as its new CEO, according to a statement on February 11.

Change from HSBC to the management position at Valor

Biggs previously worked as Global Head of Innovation at the British financial institution HSBC Private Banking and is known in the scene as a Bitcoin expert. As CEO of the young startup Valor, Biggs is expected to accelerate the company’s expansion.

Valor issues exchange-traded Bitcoin products (ETP) with no management fees. The startup currently has two Bitcoin trackers in euros and Swedish kronor on offer, which allow investors to make Bitcoin investments on traditional securities trading platforms.

Commenting on Diana Biggs‘ appointment as new CEO, Valor founder Johan Wattenström said:
